The Carolina Comets is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Our players are well coached in all aspects of playing competitive softball, and keeping in top physical condition. In addition, a strong emphasis is placed on academic excellence, good sportsmanship, and positive behavior. Physical aggression, unsportsmanlike conduct, foul language, and uncooperative behavior are not tolerated. We as a team take pride in personal and team accomplishments and accept winning and defeat with dignity. In and out of uniform, we represent The Carolina Comets, the community, and the sponsors.
Our Mission is to develop a strong Team and strong Team Players through positive attitude and training in the fundamentals of fastpitch softball. We will provide the foundation, training and opportunities necessary for our girls to play at a higher level and ultimately build confidence and positive attitudes. We will expose our players to the fundamentals of fastpitch softball and strategy, teach teamwork, good sportsmanship, and present our players with an opportunity to reach their highest potential. We will teach them to craft their softball and life skills and values – pride, effort, self-confidence, and to respect oneself and others allowing each girl to succeed both on and off the field. We will strive to establish a lifetime of memories, all the time while having fun!
